If you were someone who wanted to hop on the Apple bandwagon and experience macOS, the 21.5-inch variant was the cheapest the company had to offer. Apple had already buried the 21.5-inch variant listing somewhere deep down where it was hard to find. Talking about the device specifications, the 21.5-inch Apple iMac is powered by a fairly dated 2.3 GHz Dual-core 7th generation Core i5 processor. It ran on macOS Sierra out of the box and was released back in 2017. Storage options include choosing between a 1TB HDD or 256GB SSD paired with 8GB of RAM. The screen has a resolution of 1920×1080 and comes with Magic Keyboard and Magic Mouse 2. Now, those looking forward to buying the Apple-powered machines are limited to the recently released 24-inch and 27-inch iMac. As it turns out, there is still a way to buy the entry-level option, which is via Apple’s official Certified Refurbished online store or finding one via retailers. Do you think Apple did the right thing by discontinuing the 21.5-inch iMac? Make sure to share your thoughts in the comments section below.
