The Honor 30 Pro and 30 Pro+ have dual selfie cameras, with the Honor 30 having a single selfie shooter.

Honor 30

The Honor 30 runs on Magic UI 3.1.1 which is based on Android. The dual-SIM device features a 6.53-inch full HD+ (1080×2400 pixels) punch hole display. The Kirin 985 SoC powers this device, which brings with it 6GB or 8GB of RAM paired with 128GB/256GB of onboard storage.

The Honor 30’s quad-rear camera setup includes a 40-megapixel main shooter, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, another 8-megapixel telephoto camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera. The telephoto lens supports 5× optical zoom, 10× hybrid zoom and 50× digital zoom. In the selfie department, this phone has a 32-megapixel selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture. The Honor 30 has a 4,000mAh battery pack to keep the device powered which supports 40W fast charging.

Honor 30 Pro

The Honor 30 Pro has a slightly bigger display than the Honor 30, coming in with a 6.57-inch full HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) dual hole-punch display. Under the hood, the Kirin 990 SoC keeps things ticking, and is paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB/256GB of inbuilt storage. The Honor 30 Pro has three rear cameras with a 40-megapixel main camera, a 16-megapixel super wide-angle camera and an 8-megapixel telephoto camera. The telephoto lens supports 5× optical zoom, 10× hybrid zoom and 50× digital zoom. The Honor 30 Pro’s dual selfie camera setup features a 32-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture and an 8-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture. It also packs a similar battery as the Honor 30.

Honor 30 Pro+

This smartphone offers the same display size as the Honor 30 Pro, but goes one better with a 90Hz refresh rate. It has a Kirin 990 SoC under the hood which offers  8GB/12GB of RAM, and features three rear cameras like the Honor 30 Pro. Its main camera includes a 50-megapixel Sony IMX700 sensor which was reported in an earlier article. The Honor 30 Pro+ comes with a 4,000mAh battery that offers fast charging at 40W and also wireless and reverse charging capabilities. This smartphone offers 5G SA/NSA connectivity with Wi-Fi 6 and USB type-C port.

Prices

The Honor 30 is priced at $423 for the 6GB+128GB variant, $452 for the 8GB+128GB variant and $495 for the 8GB+256GB variant. The Honor 30 Pro goes for $565 for the 8GB+128GB variant and $620 for the 8GB+256GB variant.
