This smartphone, which is a successor to the Smart 4 Plus, is built around a 6.6-inch IPS display with a waterdrop notch that houses the 8MP selfie camera. Under the hood, an unnamed octa-core processor running at 1.8GHz keeps this smartphone ticking. It works in tandem with 2/3GB of RAM and 32/64GB of onboard storage that can be expanded via microSD to 256GB.

A 5,000mAh battery that supports 10W charging keeps this smartphone powered all day. In the software department, this entry-level phone runs Android 10 (Go Edition) out of the box. The Infinix Smart 5’s triple rear camera setup houses a 13MP primary camera that is assisted by two 2MP sensors. As at the time of this report, there is no confirmation regarding the pricing yet, but sources suggest that this smartphone, which was launched in India, will be available in two storage variants- a 2GB+32GB model and a 3GB+64GB model. The Infinix Smart 5 will be available in green, black, and blue colors and is expected to make its way to Nigeria in the coming weeks.
