The Moto G9 Play is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 662 processor with 2.0 GHz octa-core Kryo 260 CPU and 950 MHz Adreno 610 GPU. It has a 6.5″ HD+ (1600×720 pixels) IPS TFT LCD screen with 269 PPI having an aspect ratio of 20:9. It runs on Android 10 with Motorola’s My UX on top. The Moto G9 Play has a triple camera system on the rear side. It has a 48 MP primary sensor with f/1.7, a 2 MP depth sensor with f/2.4, and a 2 MP macro sensor with f/2.4. It has a single LED flash on the rear side. The front side has a single 8 MP sensor with f/2.2 placed on the waterdrop notch. It has a single loudspeaker at the bottom, a 3.5 mm headphone jack, and 2 microphones for audio. The Moto G9 Play has a big 5000mAh battery that supports 20W fast charging. It comes with a USB 2.0 Type-C port and has a Hybrid-SIM slot (1 Nano SIM + 1 microSD). Moto G9 Play is only one variant that offers 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage, which is expandable up to 512GB with microSD. For security, it has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and face unlock feature. It has a dedicated Google Assistant button on the side. The smartphone has a plastic back and comes in three colour options – Spring Pink, Sapphire Blue, and Forest Green. The Moto G9 Play costs €169 in the European markets, whereas it is expected to be around $155 in other regions.
